A treasure trove of heritage

The Plattner Bienenhof gives you an insight into the life of farmers in the past as well as a look into South Tyrol's largest beekeeping exhibition.
The over 600 year old Plattner Bienenhof is one of the most picturesque farms in South Tyrol and its unique position at the top of a grassy hill invites you to visit it. The Gramm family of Bolzano has rehabilitated this farm inn an exemplary way by collaborating with the Department of Fine Arts and has transformed it into a museum of beekeeping.
The new destination has not changed the original character of the house and now the majestic farmhouse is home to no only the largest private beekeeping collection in South Tyrol, but it is also a witness to the peasant architecture and their way of life.

The Plattner Bienenhof beekeeping museum in Wolfsgruben will be free to visit with the “Suedtirol Guest Pass RittenCard”.
Open from April 11, 2025 to October 31, 2025 from 10 am to 6 pm. Last entry 5pm.
