Of all Ritten’s villages, Sill lies furthest down in the valley. Behind the fresco-adorned Runkelstein Castle and at the entrance to the Sarntal valley, the village is made up of several homes, Ried Castle and an ice rink that sits on the western slope of the sunny plateau, which a popular winter destination for Bozen’s ice sports enthusiasts.
