On the southern slope of the sunny Ritten plateau sits the charming little village of Signat at 850 metres asl, which is made up of a collection of scattered houses and farms. Spring and autumn are particularly pleasant seasons to hike among the fruit trees, meadows and vineyards, and stop for a bite to eat. The REBE wine trail begins here and runs through the vineyards of St. Magdalena down to Bozen.
