The ‘Rittner Horn 2028’ working group was set up back in 2018 to ensure the long-term security and further development of the Rittner Horn mountain lifts and the region's leisure facilities. The resulting 10-year concept has been successfully implemented in recent years. Several million euros have been invested - more than half of this for ongoing operations, the rest for measures to increase turnover. Safety and sustainable development were the top priorities.
Now it is time to define new goals and set the course for the future.
With the support of the consultancy firm Kohl & Partner, a new working group has been formed to look after the sustainable development of the mountain railway and the hiking and skiing area. The main aim is to further strengthen the Rittner Horn as an attractive year-round area for locals and guests. In winter in particular, there should be a wide range of activities on offer, regardless of the snow conditions. In addition to skiing and ski touring, the focus is on tobogganing, snowshoeing and relaxing family experiences.
